Just a quick update on my progress from da vinci surgery on 11-22-10. Catheter came out on 11-29-10. So far, no "accidents" and only a rare drop in the underwear. Have not worn any pad or protection from the day catheter was removed. Went back to work two days after catheter came out, or in other words nine days post surgery. Also, first post surgery ejaculation was 7 days after catheter was removed, or 14 days post surgery. Useable erection and intercourse at 21 days post surgery.

My post-op appointment and first PSA is set for December 23rd. Will report PSA value after the appointment. Very happy camper at the moment!

I am a month ahead of you with similar results but PSA is .07
Sounds like you are doing super well. Has your Doctor said anything about what is acceptable psa post op? Anyone know what the protocol is at 8 weeks if the psa is still .06 after a second reading?

Sorry, Doc has not said anything about what is acceptable psa post op? And I have no idea. Guess I'll find out more on Dec 23rd.
