Hello Everyone: Just want to give you all a bit of information and hope it helps.
my name is Hilde and I was diagnosed with Non=hodgkins follicular lymphoma stage 4.
That was after surgery in 04 and then did 22 radiation treatments to the left cheek and neck. then was in remission for 41/2 years and it came back on the right side.
Surgery again and it was in my bone marrow. So stage 4.
I have found Biotene dry mouth toothpaste and they have spray and gum. It helps me tremendously. Hope it helps someone.
Hilde

Thank you Scambuster. At this time I am in remission. I did a thing called Zevalin December 23, That was after doing 8 chemo sessions. Dry mouth will never go away there are times if I dont drink enough I can not even swallow my food. But coming along. I do a scan in November. I just thought I would post what I do. I really swear by this toothpaste and the gum. They also have mouth spray too. Can not hurt to try it.

    Yay, Remission!
What is Zevalin? No radiation? My next scan is Nov. 15 - hope we're lucky together. Thanks for the helpful hints - always appreciated. Glad to hear that you're still making progress.

I want to explain what Zevalin is. It is a Radioactive treatment. It sure was scary for me.
I do my next cat scan Dec. 1st , it came in the mail Saturday. So we will see how that goes after 6 month when I had the last one done.
Hope you are doing well. Hilde

    gum
my oncoman here in UK recommended zapp gum, which is manufactured in the states and I am having trouble getting hold of it, seems they dont export, weird! Anyway it has no aspartame, no sugar, and no sorbitol - sounds perfect considering I have teeth problems and I hate to have aspartame and sorbitol. If anyone is using this product I wud luv to hear.
