Attitude is everything

I know that losing our hair can be quite traumatic, but the following helped me put it into perspective (and made me grin, as well):

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.
'Well,' she said, 'I think I'll braid my hair today.'
So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.
'Hmmm,' she said, 'I think I'll part my hair down the middle today.'
So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head.
'Well,' she said, 'today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail.'
So she did, and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head.
'YAY!' she exclaimed, 'I don't have to fix my hair today!'

Attitude is everything.

Love to all,
Cecile

Be kinder than necessary,
For everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Live simply,
Love generously,
Care deeply.

I haven't brushed my hair in
I haven't brushed my hair in 8 months and it feels good. Less hair care products, and less time spent getting ready.

    This is really an inspiring
This is really an inspiring word for the cancer victim, cancer survivor and even the normal person who has a chance to live life at it their best. Live simply, love generously and care deeply. I was overwhelmed of these words. I want to thank you for sharing this little short story but creates a powerful impact. For me, sickness is not a hindrance to live our life at a high quality. I think this is just a simple battle to fight for. I am crossing my finger that all of us will be free from sickness whether in health and spirit.
