My boyfriend Ivan is just 37 years old. He was diagnosed with 'Rhabdomyo sarcoma - pleomorph‏' in November 2009. The cancer started in his right leg. The size is just like a boll size. Cancer spread to his lungs.
He had 3 different type of cameos but did not work. He has pain on his chest now and also having breading problem. The doctor says we can not do much anymore. He is taking tablet for the pain. I do not want to lose him Please help if you know any information or have any experience about this disease.

I would do everything to safe Ivan's life.

Thank you so much in advance

    Hello,

My daughter's father who is 39 was diagnosed with this cancer in December 2009. He does well with the chemo but unfortunately the doctors say that he will not have much longer to live. His name is Kent and I am not going to believe what they say, due to the fact that this is such a rare cancer. I will never give up on hope and faith, however we are preparing for the worst.....just in case. If he is to go, he wants to know that everything is in order and his daughters are taken care of. There are more stories about this cancer, look under childhood cancers, because that’s what this is. I would also like to ask a question. Has your boyfriend ever served in the Military, has he ever been to the Middle East, or been a mechanic?

    Hi Cynthia,

Thank you so much for your information. I do very much hope that your daughter’s father will be fine. It must be very tuff for her as well. We have to be strong and fight not give up. I still believe that out there some ting for those kind dieses but we do not know how to find it.
Yes, Ivan has been military as an army. He has not been to the Middle East and a mechanic? May I ask you why are you asking? We are living in Denmark and he is Danish. My boyfriend Ivan is having treatment in Aarhus Universitetshospital, (Aarhus Sygehus). I do believe that Denmark is not the best country about this type of cancer treatment. Ivan had 3 different type chemos but unfortunately they did not work on him. The cancer is growing very fast and has been told very aggressive type of cancer. They are going to give to him another type of chemo on Monday. We discuss with his doctor to go to Germany but his Doctor says that, what they do there we also do here. No point to go to Germany. I do feel terrible and I do not know what to do. I do hope that in this side some people knows some thing about this type of cancer. I would be very greatuful if some one help. Of curse I will be also inform everybody here if we will find some thing new.
