Hi Patty, Thank you for your concern and your prayers. I got the most incredible results from the Rad. doc yesterday. The tumor in my lung has shrunk so much that they can no longer find it!!! He said I have some scar tissue in my lung and if I still have any tumor it is so small it's hiding behind the scar tissue. I am still in a bit of a daze, it was such encouraging news that it still hasn't sunk in completely. I also asked him if there were any lymph nodes involved and he said no. He said that if there are no changes in my next scan they will move me to a 6 month schedule - woohooo!! I am still on a monthly schedule with my ENT to keep an eye on the laryngeal cancer but so far there have been no changes in that cancer either. Miracles really do happen, 11 months ago when I was first diagnosed and told "inoperable, incurable, don't know how much longer you have, etc. I thought I would be dead by the end of the year. I think I will make an appointment with the surgeon who gave me this fatalistic diagnosis and show him how well I am doing and tell him how wrong he was to scare and discourage me the way he did. But then again, I don't think I will do that. I'm just so happy to be doing so great that I don't want to waste a second of my life on someone who had so little faith.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I know He never let go of me and was with me throughout this journey, I could feel Him and knew He would protect me. It's an incredible feeling of security and love. God Bless and love to you Patty

I want to thank you all for you thoughts and prayers. Yes, I truly am blessed and I know He has been watching over me through all of this. As I said in other posts - my cancer team and modern medicine got me where I am today but I know He was there with me through all of it.

thegirlfriend - Yes, it was a little scary at first to believe, I think that's why I just sat there staring at my doctor when he read the report. I didn't dare to believe the fantastic news but believe me - I believe it now and am enjoying it.

Let's all pray for Happy Dance news from others on this board. I LOVE doing that dance.

So much good news happening lately on this forum - it is amazing! I am especially happy for you shrinkage, no lymph nodes involved,and how far you have come from the first MIS-diagnosis from that fool! No, you are correct in not wasting your energy on negativity.
I am so proud and happy for you - I am at a loss for words! (nah- never happen! Lol!)

Thank you for your heartfelt post. I am so happy to make your year, it is such a wonderful feeling to be able to post positive news. Hopefully it will give others encouragement and hope. I'm still in shock. I've been smiling nonstop since getting this news, I think I'm even smiling in my sleep ;-)

I don't know what your weather is like in NY today but it is snowing here in NH - arrrgghhh! I guess I won't be working in my gardens today - LOL. It's just enough snow to cover the ground and I know it will be gone by this afternoon but I want to see green grass not white snow. Mother nature sure has a warped sense of humor!!!
