Hi all just wanted to share that we had a trip to ER on sunday night, His esophogus is starting to close up again, so the doctor said he will have to have it stretched again, between scar tissue, and surgery it doesn't stay open, so we will be seeing the esophogeal doctor. He ate something and it didn't want to go down. There is alot of things happening in our life, so we need prayers please.

I am always scared in the back of my mind that the cancer is trying to come back.

I will keep you all posted.

Thanks
Lori aka MOE

ps its late and I need to go to bed

what a start to the new year!
    Hey Lori
wow you were up late and had some "not so nice" excitement!
I know some things have been really tough---but you are a great support to Jeff... and I think we all have that little fear--but it seems more likely that it's just scar tissue. That will be what I pray for--that and uneventful, quick recovery!

    hang in there

    Hey Lori,
    Sorry to hear

    Hey Lori,
Sorry to hear things did not go too well for your new year. My dad's esophagus was covered by a lot of scar tissue as well. The cancer is gone, but left a lot of scar tissue, and the opening is very small. He has had 2 balloon dilations, and recently had a stent put in to keep it open. This was done on 12/22. So far so good. You might want to ask about a stent. Good luck.
Tina Prayers for you all continue.

    Hi Lor,
I'm so sorry that Jeff had a little set back and has to see the Dr. again and probably have another dilation.

Prayers are always with you. Jeff has been through this before, I remember the hunk of meat situation.

    Give him my best.

You take it easy. I will get better.

God Bless, Talk to you later maybe

    Jeff
    Hi Lori,
Sorry Jeff had another swallowing incident, sure hope the drs find a permanent solution, it must be so scary when the food won't budge. I just wish that our new esophaguses did not close up so much. My mentor, a nice lady who calls and checks on me, had to have 25 dilatations after her surgery, but 7 yrs later she is fit as a fiddle and no swallowing problems at all. I just hope they get this solved, you and Jeff have been thru enough already. Prayers for you all, take care,

    THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS
Thanks for the prayers we need them right now, alot is happening in our life that only GOD knows whats going on, but he is doing okay today his throat is real irrated (sp) and only soft foods today but seems to be okay other than being tired which they say will happen when something goes wrong. We go for a pet scan on the 11th and see the doctor on the 18th so please say a prayer for both of us.

I try to be postive in all this but sometimes I need to vent too, to help others.

I love all my CSN family and don't know what I would do without you all.

I don't remember which one said to check on a stent and I will thanks

    Take care

    Loves and hugs

    Praying
    Dear Lori,
I am so glad that Jeff is doing better today. Our bodies do seem to know what we need and rest really helps the healing process. My husband sleeps so much more now than before the cancer. I will be praying for you and Jeff over the next few weeks.
