I am currently going to the Cancer Centers of NC in Raleigh but I feel like I need a second opinion. Does anyone have any experience with a good doctor or center near or around the Chapel Hill\Raleigh\Durham NC area?

I have thought about the new cancer center at UNC. I have visited their website and read through it but I don't know anyone who has been.

    I'd go for it
I have not been there myself, but that is where Elizabeth Edwards, wife of former Presidential candidate John Edwards, has been treated. My son did clinical work there when he did his studies to become a radiation therapist, and he told me it was very good, in his opinion. I'd give them a try.

    Dr Stephen Bernard
Is my oncologist at UNC and has been for over 5 years. Dr Calvo is also very good there.

We are very lucky where we live and you should take advantage of the comprehensive cancer centers at UNC and/of Duke. Google comprehensive cancer centers to see the difference between them and other cancer centers.
