I shouldn't complain after all the good news I've received lately, but wondering if anyone has had the same problems with the incisions after robotic surgery. Just one, really, the one on the lower right side, the largest one where my doc said he took the prostate out. I had the staples removed a couple of days ago, and it's sealed tight, but it's still very tender and warm to the touch. And every now and then, doing nothing, I will get a sharp pain as if someone has just jabbed me with a pin, even though there's nothing there. I asked my doc about it and he didn't think it was a big deal, said it's the internal stitch and it will get better. How long does this take to heal?

    I've not noticed any of
I've not noticed any of those type of pains yet. My pain has gotten down to manageable with over the counter meds now. day 8 post surgery. Still doing 1 oxycotin at night.

Two days ago it felt like something was on the inside of me and kicking my abdomen. Hope I'm not PG! LOL.

Then later in the day I had a very warm sensation from deep inside. I actually thought I had wet my self from around the cath but checked and was all dry.

Today my urine in the cath bag is very dark and had more blood then normal leak when I had the BM this morning. It was a pretty soft BM. At anyrate I'm pushing the fluids heavy right now. Have drank 44 ounces of water in the last hour.

Yeah, I got a few of those
Yeah, I got a few of those episodes of blood in the urine, usually around the time of a BM. I just kept drinking water, and the urine would clear up. My doc said it's normal, just the bladder passing some clots. Just wish these pin prick pains would go away from my incisions.

    Pains
I had similar pains and I am told that it is due to gas, which has trouble getting out as it normally does for a while after surgery. By doing the exercises, the pains went away in a week.

Well, now I have some kind
Well, now I have some kind of painful knee bursitis or tendonitis. I think I overdid it with walking the last few days, although I thought I took it easy. The pain in the knee started a few days ago mildly, and today I went to the golf range for just some easy swings. This evening the knee is really painful.

I have a theory that prostate surgery gets the body focused on healing the surgery and doesn't leave a lot of energy to heal or take care of other body parts. So a small injury that would normally not be a problem becomes one. After the surgery I had a terrible jock itch that is finally getting cured with lots of lotrimin, and now this knee thing. These are things that I don't normally get, but all of a sudden I'm getting injured.
