Mediport??

Has anyone experienced a bad mediport? My father needs to have his replaced, somehow it is now in a loop. They cannot draw blood from it, but supposedly it's still safe to use for the chemo.

    I have not experienced any problems with my port, but have read a few posts on other discussion boards about people needing to get a new one installed when theirs' quit working properly, so I do know that happens.
