Are you home safe? Did you go through the staple removal yet? Perhaps you have posted and I missed, but wanted to send you best wishes for a speedy recovery. Prayers and Hugs and good energy sending your way.

Thanks, Paula. I am doing really well. Can sleep on both sides as of last night one week from surgery with incision from boobs to crack as they say. Staples come out Monday. I tire easily but knew to expect that from you gals. Gas pains are my only discomfort now and I know that will pass soon. In more ways than one...ha..ha. Everything is functioning normally except taste is a little off, I think. Hugs to all but not too tight

Saundra, so good to see you post and hear you are doing so well. And the gas pains I can still remember, try to keep walking and you are right they will pass. :-)

May the great Physician continue to hold you and help you in your healing process.

    Saundra,
I'm so happy to hear your feeling better. My sister insists that drinking cranberry juice is excellent for getting rid of surgery gas, as well as walking...but it can be a little hard to walk right now. Hope all goes well for you Today...(((hugz)))..Joanne

You sound fantastic. I remember trying to walk some every day for the gas and to get abdominal strength back. Sure glad to hear this sense of humor! Right on, Saundra! Keep up the good work...and yes, thanks to your hubby for filling in with reports. It kept you close in thought.

Saundra...so good to know you are doing well. My Mom swore by her cranberry juice. Every morning when she woke up she was nauseated and then the gas pains would come. The nurses used to run fast as soon as they saw she was awake and get the juice. Yes it did settle thing down for her. Her appetite was off too. She said that even favorite foods did not taste the same as before. I tried all sorts of thing to tempt her to eat. Sierra Myst also helped her with gas. She had trouble walking so we used to shift her position and use a hot water bag on the worst pains. We also tried Mylanta gas for children. That worked reallly quick but not until it was a while out from her surgery. Hope you keep feeling better...Cindy
