Hi - haven't posted for a while, getting on with a very busy life!
July will be 2 years since diagnosis - CEA still negligible, CT due in November.

Basically - I'm living a full life, working full time (but playing for sympathy when it suits me!) - and this week I start learning how to ride a motorbike - and I've never even sat on one before.

People say I'm having a mid-life crisis; I say it's exactly the opposite, I'm enjoying and value life so much I want to make the most of it.

I know I'm not out of the woods yet - but this is to remind everyone that the five years waiting for the 'all-clear' can be five normal years.

Bless you all.
Sheepy

    Sheepy,

GOod for you! Enjoy life to the fullest! You are right about how this disease can change our perspective on life and you are also right about waiting for those 5 years to pass - they can be normal.

So happy to hear you are doing well. Keep it up.

Sheepy...maybe you need to change your screen name. Doesn't sound like "Sheepy" is very fitting any more. How 'bout we open it up to the semi-colons to come up with a good nick-name for ya! How 'bout it guys???

    Congratulations __________(put new name here!)!!

    Take care. Jimmy

Jimmy - 'Sheepy' doesn't mean I'm 'sheepish' - it's a name given to me by my work colleagues when I lived in Wales (I live in Blackpool now).

Legend has it that in Wales there are many sheep, and many lonely farmers. Need I say more???!!?
