Every since I started chemo ( I finished 7 months ago) I can't sleep. I feel really tired but not at night. I do very relaxing activites before bedtime. Is it the steriods? I don't think it is stress and I am very active during the day. Does anyone else have this problem? What do you do about it?

I did not have chemo but was on steroids.... I did not sleep either. The doc gave me meds to help me sleep because I wouldnt sleep more then 10 minutes at a time and longest was an hr. Talk to ur doctor about it maybe then can give you something to help u for the time being.... I hope this helps you.

Thanks for the tip. I did chat with my doc and he gave me some Ambien and suggested that I try better sleep hygene such as going to bed at the same time, not drinking coffee, not sitting on my bed. However, the college and working lifestyle isnt exactly accomadating to these demands but im going to give it a try.

glad they gave you something to help and you are right those things do not fit with the college and working lifestyle but are worth a try. I hope it helps you to sleep.
