the one tumor that is left in my lung has shrunk to the 3mm. he is going to leave me on chemo for 4 more mths then do a pet and a cat and see what happens. if all is clear he will take me off chemo and maybe just leave me on the avastin. of course i hope a pray there is nothing there and never will be agian. i hope all you moms had a wonderful mothers day. for the past 2yrs i have had chemo on moms day and my husband and kids plant pretty flowers for me and this year they did the same as once again i am not feeling well do to treatment. but those flowers mean more to me then one could ever know. happy moms day to all of you and may all of us find the strength for another day.

Hi nettie, Enjoy those flowers, and belated happy mom's day to you, too. Good news about the lung site. I have a young friend who had primary lung lesion, large, inoperable, and 3 met sites to the brain. She is now 1 year out of chemo, with NO evidence of any tumors!!!
Continue to hang in there, and I hope you feel better. Judy

    Dear Nettie
Sounds like your doctor is keeping a pretty close watch over you. Your tumor has shrunk and that is very good news. After all the chemo you've gone thru I know you can handle a few more months of it....soon you will be feeling better, I'm sure!
Keep enjoying those beautiful flowers from your wonderful hubby & kids.
    Be Well,
    Pam

Thanks for sharing good news about the shrinkage of your lung nodule. That I am sure made Mother's day and those flowers all the sweeter.

Here is praying that everything is gone in that CT down the road.

    Best wishes,

    Kris
