I just want to thank everyone that answered my messages in the past. It helped me keep peace of mind even though things were getting difficult to deal with. My aunt after all did not win her battle, but she faught until the end. Many of you, survivors, I have a better understanding to what you went through or what you are going through. I hope I never have to go through this situation again, but if I do, I will remember this website and remember how it took care of me while I was taking care of my aunt. I realized I wasn't the only one out there dealing with a loved one fighting this awful disease. My aunt never gave up and that's why it was so hard for her to finally let go. I give each and everyone of you my deepest respect and love. Trust me it can get better, Keep the faith in yourself and God. He has a way of helping, in one way or another. The good thing was the whole family came together and was able to tell her how much they loved her, which hadn't been said in years for some people. She left this world with us by her side. Love will help anyone through. Thank you again and God Bless!
Terri

I'm so sorry about your aunt and thanks for posting at such a difficult time. You are an inspiration. Cancer can do strange things. I've also found that it has brought my family closer. I hope that when that time comes for me, my family is all near my side. Thanks again for posting and you are in my prayers.

Hi Terri--'tis sad to hear of your aunt passing. This site is terrific as are the people here.Knowing that in some cases there are worse people off than myself I try to find some comfort knowing that I might be able to offer some advice and support to others. It is a true shame that it has taken this horrible disease to bring this "family " here together but I am thankfull to be part of it.
All our luv and best wishes-kanga n Jen

I am so sorry to hear about your aunt, but I know that she had a wonderful person caring for her. Yours was the first post I read when I got diagnosed and it was so positive and loving, for some reason I immediately felt better and knew that this was an awesome website to belong to. We all hope that we have somebody like you in our lives, somebody that can carry the flame when we are not able.
Thanks for being there and may God bless you.
