Stage 3

I am 50 yrs. old and finished external and internal rad. last month, had surgery in Feb.
I am a survivor of colon cancer (8 yrs. ago).
I take 20 mg. of tamoxifen citrate 7 days per month and 80 mg. of megestrol acetate every day.
If there is anyone else out there with stage 3 I would like to hear about your treatment.

    Hi I am Judy 45 year old that had stg.3 uterine cancer, I went thru 6 chemo treatments and surgery. I felt ok the first 60 days after treatment ended but now I ache all over and I am scared.

    Hi, I am Liz. I'm 43 years old. I have stage 3A. I have had a total hysterectomy plus bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy. Just means they took out most of my girl bits. I have also had 28 external beam radiation treatments. I will soon be going through Chmeo. or I could do tamoxifen. What the hang up is my age. I went though premature menopause due to the surgery. It was like hitting a brick wall. Now I have a VERY low sex drive. I am told the tamoxifen will mess with my ability to have an orgasm. The worst effect of the radition was scarring of vagina and rectum. Becuse of that I have had a lot of trouble with constipation, and I cannot have a pelvic exam done.
