Hi everyone! It's been quite a while since I have been in the chat rooms here. I am doing well and still cancer free, however, my 3 year old daughter was just diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in October. It's been a tough month already and our journey has just begun. She is doing well, but extremely frightened. Does anyone have any suggestions to help her through this difficult time? Thank you all!

Carrie

    Carrie;
    I will certainly add your baby to my prayer list. Tell her there will be prayers from Texas surrounding her and giving her the comfort of the angels. My prayers will also be for her mother who needs comfort and ease as well.
    What is rhabdomysosarcoma? What will they do for her? I can pray specifically if I know more of what it is.
    Love and Hugs,
    Mary

    I am very sorry about the dx of your daughter but with your help she will get through this time. I have heard that there are some very good books to help explain things to such young children. They too need some knowledge to help them get through their fears, for they are individuals too. Your strength and courage will bring her along way and all the love you can shower upon her. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
    Be good to yourself,
    Tara

    Hi Carrie...I'm so sorry your little one has to suffer. I don't have any kids, so not sure what to do to help. I just wanted you to know I'm here, & I'm praying. I'm glad you have stayed well. I haven't looked through the other boards here, but is there one for children with cancer, or parents of children with cancer? If so, check it out. As helpful as this group has been for most of us, I'm sureone of those would be helpful, also. If there isn't one that pertains, you might suggest that they add one. Take care, and hugs and prayers are headed your way. God bless, Cyndi
