Wow...I just went back to one of my earlier posts and read your reply....I thought it was "mean" of them to tell me I had an area that was "probably benign." You, on the other hand, went through the ringer!!! How are you now? Are the scans and mammos clear now? How long ago was it that they told you that you needed the double mast that you really didn't need? How did you handle that? I would have been in the loony bin!!! I give you a lot of credit for making it through that one!!! Let me know how you're doing. Hugs, Cyndi PS...been out of town a lot lately, so sorry I didn't respond right away to your response.

hiya, Cyndi!! girl....it's been a trip. as for the dbl mast i was ready for it. i was tired of everything and i just wanted it over but it was cancelled because PET scan on Apr. 8th revealed 2 more places. CT scan of stomach on Apr 16th showed cancer in node and MRI (same day) on spine also cancer. that one's been there a while but it's "non-active" meaning it's not causing problems or symptoms. we just happened to find it. 2nd CT scan of stomach on May 28th came back clear. I'M OFF CHEMO!!!!! as for the spine, we are keeping an eye on it to make sure it STAYS silent. now we're dealing with a really bad rash that we think is an allergic reaction to something but we don't know what. when we get that cleared up i'm going to start Arimidex and rads. the rads are for cancer cells left in bc area. like i said...it's been a trip!!! but God is good and definitely answers prayer. i know i'm not out of the woods yet but i've found a clearing to rest in a while. God bless. Vicki :)

I'm so glad you're doing as well as you are now. I truly believe our faith carries us through. My grandma, who recently passed away, told me when I was diagnosed to remember that God will not lead you TO anything that He will not carry you THROUGH. I firmly believe that. I wish you well, and will pray really hard for the silent cancer to stay that way, or to just go away! Best wishes, and God bless, Cyndi
