Well eric if your looking for rosier I don't think you will find it. I don't think one goes into this really considering the stats one has to focus on one thing and one thing only getting well. I am 5 year survivor of stage 3 and well I hope to prove them wrong, as do many of the other women on this site. Sometimes life just isn't easy but simple for sure. I hope your g/f can put aside some of the negative stats and concentrate only what she can do for herself. I can only hope that you both get the support you need going through these life altering changes. I hope we will soon see your g/f posting here.
    Be good to yourselves,

well, your strong message is encouraging and appreciated. i hope she decides to have her surgery at the u.w. hosp. here in madison, wi.....because they have a library w/computers to go online and maybe by then she'll have the desire (or need) to go to this site and get the benifits that, so far,
only i have been enjoying. i printed your messages and will give them to her tonight
when i get off work. (she doesn't have a computer). thank you for sharing your experience and hope! eric

Just want you to know I can imagine we all think that your carrying attitude will be one of the things that will make a difference in your g/f's life. You hang in there and glad you will do that for her.
    Best wishes,
