To all of you who are grieving over this unspeakable evil that has been done in New York City this day as well as in Washington, D.C.
I am just south of Atlanta, Georgia, but I felt the grievious loss through one of my nurses as I was having a treatment today. Someone ran in and turned on the TV saying this just can't be happening. My nurse had a cousin working at the Trade Center - her parents live in New York state and my heart broke for her and with that the knowledge of all the broken lives and repercussions that this inhumane act will have on so very many people for years to come. My heart is so heavy for all of you world wide who have been personally touched by this horror, and you are in my prayers and thoughts. May God have mercy.
I wish I could give each of you a personal hug, but you will know I am sending it through cyberspace with heartfelt love and pain for your grief. No one will ever forget this day or all the innocent lives lost, and their loved ones left to mourn---we may not know individual names, but God does and He will know for whom we pray.
May God bless you and give you strength to bear your suffering,
Brenda

Hi all! I live 30 miles north of NYC. We watched the news as all this occured. The devistation is unbelievable. So many of us have friends and family who live or work there.Luckly, my family are all safe. My husband was at the airport for a 9:30 flight. Thank God he wasn't scheduled earlier. This is a time for everyone to pray for all those who are lost, injured,or killed! This is a day we will never forget. This is also my 1 year anniv. from my surgery so I will never forget this day for many reasons. HUGS to all!!! Cathy

    Hi Cathy,

I am so glad your family is safe ! In other times I would have said happy anniversary, but with the tragedy I know your focus is on those who are hurting. We fight so hard to stay alive and regain our health, to see a group of people showing such a disrespect for Life is unbearable.

Love and hugs to all of you on CSN,
    Cathy

    Dear Brenda,

I live and work in a amall town of Switzerland but the shock of the tragedy does not diminish with distance. One of my friends at work has a brother-in-law who works at the Trade Center. She just found out he had taken the day off, what a relief ! New York is not to me a symbol of America's wealth, but rather a symbol of its generous acceptance of immigrants coming from all over the world. I think that is why all the nations in the world have condemned so strongly this attack : America is a part of us all, part of our hopes, our dreams... We are cousins and we hurt because it really feels like a family member has been attacked.

May God help the rescue team in their search for survivors.

May God help the police forces of the world in their search for the criminals. No one will ever feel safe again, in New York or in the rest of the world, until they are caught and punished.

    Love,
    Cathy
