A Few More Questions?

I have a few more questions after spending a few weeks reading other posts. I had my last chemo on Halloween, saw ocn with labs after one month, am scheduled to see him again next week. Labs he ordered are CBC,C12P,LDH,and a Uric Acid. Are these the normal tests, I read about markers are there other tests I should be having. Also, even though my tumor was ER neg he has put me on Tamoxifin as a precaution but again these are the only test he has done. And one more question some of you have had scans and sonagrams(sp) when do they do these and why. Thank for your feedback and support. Sharon

    hi sharon, your labwork is the normal blood tests to see how your blood counts are,..I take the same every three weeks, right before each chemo treatment. Because I didn't have a lymph node disection and the dr. didn't know the node status,,,I did have a bone scan and an abdominal scan to see if there was any matastasis.[ there weren't] also usually during chemo they will do a mugga [heart scan] to see how strong your heart is....lindy
