My dad is 65 and was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in April 2000 and on January 16, 2001 it was found to have spread to his brain with two tumors. I would like to hear from anyone who can share information with me. Thank you

Sorry to hear about your father. I was diagnosed with andocarcinoma in August. I'm planning treatment at Long Island Jewish Staten Island. It's called Stereotactic Radiosurgery - founded in Sweden for treatment of brain tumors, but also being used for lung tumors that have metastisized. Phone number is 1-800-285-4584.

I'm sorry about your daddy. My dad was diagosed in October with small cell carcinoma. He is doing quite well for now. But, needless to say, I know what you are going through like most of us here. God bless you. I pray your dad's cancer will respond and he gets better soon.

With the exception of his age, and when he was diagnosed, that sounds like my dad. He was diagnosed in october of 1997 and about 3 weeks ago, they found two tumors in his head, right in the front like tow horns. He doesn't seem to be doing well right now, and the radiation is really messing with his head and speech. I would love to find some trial that would be able to help, but I haven't as of yet. They all seem to have prerequisites that he can't meet.

My dad's cancer is non small cell. I hope your mom does well. My dad has less than 3 weeks to live at this point.
