Hi, My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer in May of this year. I am seeking as much info as I can find. Is Non small cell cancer faster growing than small cell? We really don't know much about this disease and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
I have small cell and as far as I know this is the fastest growing of the lung cancers. There are some excellent sites on the net for information - the following site has some good links. I also found that my oncologist and our local Cancer Society to be excellent sources of information.

    All the best,
    Linda C.

I was diagnosed with the same thing on Oct 8th,2000 and doctors were thinking about removing my lung till my MRI showed it had spread to my adrendal gland so I had to undergo chemo treatments every 3 weeks for 6 treatments were finished. I'm happy to say that the tumor on my gland completely dissolved & my lung tumor shrunk to a third of it's size & now I have an appointment to see a surgeon to have lung possibly removed! Tell your husband to keep a positive attitude and the will to live that is very important in dealing with it and prayers to God! My prayers are with you!

Mannw: Hi!No non cell is not faster, but small cell is! Is his cancer in two or one lungs? Is it in the trake or the (Y) of the lungs.
I had 3rd stage non small cell plus had cancer in chest of 4 limp noids. was given 6 months to live for mine could not be operated on or removed.
I have then at that time taken 12 herbs every day to this minute I am still on the herbs and today I am 3 years in remission and doing fine.ken (bbardin@zianet.com)

I was amazed to read about your situation with herbal treatments. My aunt was diagnosed with lung cancer. We were just told yesterday that it is in her lymph nodes in her throat. Can you give some advice? Thanks Best wishes for your continued recovery.

As for herbs all I can say to you to give your aunt (fresh raspberrys) for they have an eligen in them "that kills cancer" also orange skins has the eligen also. take a orange on a cheese shredder and scrape off only the outer "orange" skin. you should have a small pile of skin and shaveings. put that in o.j. and have her drink it down. yup it may taste kind of different going down ,but what is worst then what she has?.
I have eaten the berrys 7days a week along with orange skins for 7 months. I also took ginger caps 5days before kemo treatments to 3days after and "never" got sick-sick. I also took bee proplis and a herb called cq-10 with flex oil cap. I was given 6mo's to live for I had 3rd stage none small cell plus 3 lymph noids in center of chest that were cancer. was told it would spred to liver and brain got a pat on the back and sent home. that was 3 years ago and am doing better then better. I became per/say the poster child for texas tech cancer center yet I am not a child more so another of gods angels

yup forever that is a good sign because some are faster and stronger as if self mind. as I told others I worked with herbs and fresh fruit. sounds nuts I'm sure but it helped me and I did research after research on this and it is true for fresh raspberrys and all others have an eligen in them that (kills) cancer 'but the fresh "raspberrys" are no#1 and the orange skin on a orange. you can shave it off on a cheese shredder or a gor/may knife and take it off in strings or make candy out of the skins. For me it wass the cheese shredder then dumped all this into a glass of o.j. and drank it all down. It was tough 'but it had to be done.
I did so well that I became a working human tool for houston texas cancer center and bostons mass cancer center . houston and boston use herbs when treating cancer. I was in texas tech lubbock and became there per/say poster child .I had from the start top of right lung 4.50cm tumor plus 3 cancer lymph noids center of chest took 37 btreatments of rad and cybro/platen /trexall and stock on life support mech for 10 days and then told I had 6 mo's but I decided to fight back along with my wife and god I am now 3 years in remission . it all works. ken bbardin@zianet.com

Ken, thank you so much for all your information. I hope it proves as successful for my aunt as it was for you. I appreciate your immediate response to me. God Bless you! Grace

I’m new to this forum and have recently finished chemo for NSCLC. Please tell me what herbs you are taking and instructions. I’m terrified of what’s ahead for me so I’m looking for all the help I can get. I’m told that radiation will not be done due to the extend of the cancer. That sounds like I have little chance of extending my life

You need to have it biopsied.

Then you will know what you are dealing with, and what your options are.

I recommend doing this as soon as possible for the best possible outcome.

I wish you and your husband success.
