    CCSK - STAGE I - BRAZIL

My daughter was diagnosed with CCSK in 2011. Received confirmation que Then it was stage 1. Went through chemotherapy treatment for 6 months and did not need radiotherapy. Today, he is free of the disease and is a healthy, smart and very cheerful. I'm sorry if my message was strange because I used a translation tool. My email: rui.reinehr @ gmail.com

Clear Cell Sarcoma of the kidney

Hi - My son was diagnosed stage 4 clear cell sarcoma at 13 months old in 1989. He went through removal of the kidney, whole trunk radiation and a course of 24 months of chemo that lasted 2 and a half years. He got some of the worst secondary infections that our oncologist ever saw. Went through 2 Hickam catheters, and had 3 blood yeast infections. He survived. He is now 28 and married.

What I am looking for is information about secondary cancers for these survivors. When he was clear and clean of cancer for 10 years, the doctor's considered him cured. But I know the incidence of secondary cancers goes up a 20 years post treatement. We are there in change. Can anyone share any websites to find studies or information about what kind of cancers doctors are seeing?

    Thank you

Why do you said that the incidence of secondary cancers goes up a 20 years post treatement?
