    try it!
Do some googling and find a hotel near you that has them and try it out! We did this with the sleep number bed (no way are we getting that one!) and the tempurpedic. I love it, now i need to figure out how to pay for it!

    I've had one
I've had one for about 7 years and we LOVE it. I've always had problems with my back and I notice them less since we got this mattress. No difference to hot flashes but after 11 years, I'm used to those.

The only problem we've ever had was having our two dogs lab/husky mixes tear a hole in it when they were puppies. Fortunately my husband was able to fit a sample piece our salesman gave us into the hole and it's not a problem. The dogs are almost 8 now and we still love them.

I highly recommend the bed, but watch the puppies.

Reggie and I have a Temperpedic too-actually, we have a knock-off which we purchased from Overstock.com. We have had ours about 3 years now and We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I agree that the Sleep Number beds that a hotel chain has would never be anything I would have in my home.

    I love my bed!
I have a Simmons with the individually pocketed coils, so I don't feel Danny or the pets moving. Then I have a 3 inch foam topper and, whew, on top of that I have a down feather bed. The feather bed keeps me from getting too hot as the foam didn't always help with the hot flashes. Believe it or not, a down topper keeps you lots cooler than foam.

But I may buy a knock-off Tempurpedic for my guest bedroom as my sister found one at Costco and she raves about it.

    We have a sleep number
I like it very much. Almost love it, but not quite. I think I should have sprung for the extra thick topper.

after breaking both shoulders and being forced to sleep on my back I bought a Tempurpedic mattress. It took awhile for my husband to like it but I find it very comfortable. I also have Tempurpedic pillows.

    I love mine
I have a temperpedic as well and I love it. I got it when I was pregnant with my daughter and I LOVE it. I did have a problem with my foundation but the warranty covered the replacement, they come out and put it up for you and you don't ever have to flip it (love that). I do recommend the mattress cover that helps keep out water, it has saved my mattress a couple times (1st time when my water broke and many times with baby spit up and water spills here and there because I always have water by by bed). We used our tax return to buy ours, another good thing about having kids...child tax credits :) Another good thing is it should last for over 20 years, what other mattress can say that.

Thanks for asking this question. I have been thinking along the same line. I did lay down on one for a minute but you really can't tell from that. Sounds like everyone that has one is really happy with it.

    Tempur Pedic

Best bed on the market!!!   There are 3 different types of Temper beds.   The Cloud mattresses are great for folks who have bone, joint or soft tissue pain..  They are expensive, but they also have an excellent non-prorated 10 year warranty...  The history and technology that this company has is incredible.   Love, love, love
