    My stepson passed away in
My stepson passed away in Sept 2007 after a courageous 3 yr 9 month battle with this dreadful disease. He was able to stay at home with his mom and stepdad which was his wish. I send all of you who are fighting this battle strength and love and pray that a cure will be found. I will pray that Aaron will look down on all of you with hope for your future.

    Children with FHC
Hi, my daughter who is 15yrs old was diagnosed with FHC on October 10, 2009. She had 60% of her liver removed two weeks ago and one of the three lymph nodes that were removed were positive as well. She is being treated at Arkansas Childrens Hospital in Little Rock Ar, and is going to UAMS to have a PET test done today, and is to begin chemo treatments tomorrow. I would just like to chat with someone who is going or has endoured the same during this difficult time. Thank You.

    Son with similar diagnois

    MarttisMom,

I realize your originally post was a long time ago and I hope my followng question is not reviving painful emotions for you.   My 14 year old son is in a similar situation, he was diagnosed with the cancer two weeks ago, had 60% of his liver removed and his gall bladder.  One of four of the lymph nodes (the one closest to his tumor) also tested postive when they removed it.

Are there any updates you can share about your daughter?  Any advice on treatments?

    Thank you very much.

    God bless your journey

If you are writing to Mrs. Martha, she gives several ways on this board to contact her, and I am sure she would love to still talk to you about your son. Her precious daughter went to be with Jesus back in 2013. The Bourgeois are good down home people in Louisiana that would want to help anyone they can get through this terrible disease, though. Email her.
