is just one of the many stories told at our table. If you want to know more, ask Cypress Cynthia. It was her iguana:)

It was a lovely day -- meeting new people, seeing old friends, remembering those we've lost. Our hostess, Constance, thought of everything: candles, tissues, name tags, flower corsages. Food was wonderful served by our very tolerant young waiter named Thomas. He must have liked us cause he took a picture of our group with his own phone.

Speaking of pictures, I have none, but some were taken and I'm sure they'll post soon.

Truly a lovely day. Wish you all could have been there. Then it would have been perfect:)

True Stories of Fluffy the Iguana

Some of you will remember CypressCynthia's (hilarious, but all true) stories a few years back about Fluffy the Iguana -- well, we discovered over lunch today that there was one story she hadn't shared with us, and that iguanas can indeed suffer from constipation, and exactly what you have to do when they do.  I'll just leave it to your imaginations....Surprised

Trace and I are finally home and very tired after a long, happy, perfect Southern California day with everyone in San Juan Capistrano....I've put up one group shot on my Expressions page.

Well… at our kids table we have not heard about Iguana stuff

I guess beeing left alone without close supervision five of us discussed much more very important topics.

It was so nice to see and hug everybody, thank you very much for a very thoughtful gifts great desert. We took an additional walk through the Mission, I am exhausted, but very happy to continue our tradition. Thank you Both out of state heros who insprire us to get together and Constance for excellent organization of this event

Olga, I only heard the part on how to fix the

Constipated Iguana and it was not so pretty! Lol
To do over, we should have ushaped the tables so we could have had better conversation. Yet I feel blessed to have the opportunity to meet so many face to face. When I walked up Diana thoght she was going to cry, I had to turn away! I dont cry pretty, I get red blotched, but I felt very overwhelmed and happy to be there, yet when Constance spoke and lighted candles for all we have lost, what was lurking in the back of my mind, could no longer stay there. Reality of the bitc h that brings us together is still there, and the sheer numbers speak for itself. I loved meeting CC and her sisters, all lively, funny, and undeniably close! KathiM with her daughter, and the good news that she was spared a visit feom the bitc h. Olga and Inez, finally meeting you both in person, you have both been so incredibly kind and positive.I am glad you went thru the Mission, I used to love going to mass there. Faith, hope and a little bit of chemo, I have a feeling that I have met you b4. I have been trying to figure out where, you just seem so familiar! I was blessed to see Victoria again which I never thought would happen. I loved seeing Diana and Lola again it had been too long! I also got to have my sister who has come out numorous times to Utah to help me, and has been my rock in our family, and my niece Monica who just passed her bar exam, it had been a year for them also.and they had to be home by 5.
I dont know about others, but I do know how important today was for me I am so greatful that we are all felt that it was important enough to want to be there to meet eachother.
And I am thankful for all the pain meds that allowed me to be ther and function to the best of my UTI (under the influence) ability! Lol Thank you everyone for doing this, the lovely gifts, and the everyday knowing if we cme on line we will be there for eachother. It means the world to me.

    SJC Pink Soiree!

Such a terrific time seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones!  It was so awesome to have met Carol and Cynthia in person.  Both are lovely, inside and out.

Constance did an amazing job planning for the event from the beginning to end!  What a Rock Star!

I hope it won't be too long before we all meet again.
