hi

I had a lumpectomy, chemo, radiation and herceptin 4 years ago. I have recently found that my breast has really hardened in certain areas, IS this normal?

    I have not experienced that

I have not experienced that myself-I assume you have called your DR right? MY scars ( two lumpecomties same side) is somewhat NUMB , but at the same time sore if I bump my chest agaist something.

I"ll check back for an update.

Unsure, just get looked at to

Unsure, just get looked at to put your mind at rest.  I am also four years down the line but bilateral so nothing to feel but do keep alert to surrounding areas around implants.  Please get back to us.

My radiated boob is different than the other

but that hasn't changed since radiation.  It feels firmer but I wouldn't say it's "hard".  It's been 3 1/2 years for me.  I would rather feel silly for marching in for a beast exam for nothing, than ignoring something that turns out to be problemmatic, so I'd get it checked.  Docs must love to tell us "you're fine" so make his/her day!

Please let us know what you find.
