I know she was doing some biopsies and such, but haven't seen her on the forum at all.

Anyone know anything?

Oh no!  I have been off more

Oh no!  I have been off more than on here lately due to a heavy work load so I hadn't noticed her missing.  Hopefully, like me, life (or work, in my case) just got in the way and she's been too busy.  Despite my crazy schedule though, I'll make time to check back frequently until we hear from her.  She sounds pretty tough to me so I'll bet she's fine.

Until I hear differently, I'll imagine she's lying on some beach somewhere sipping a dirty banana Cool.

I Hope you are doing well, Jojo!  I miss this place when I'm not around and find myself wondering how you all are doing.  Often times, I have just enough time to log in and check up but not always enough time to post or respond to posts.  I sometimes feel guilty if I don't have time to respond to every post that interests me or has someone reaching out for help or advice, or the newbie on the block, and as a result, end up not responding to any.  Really?  Guilt over a virtual support group?  I'm destined to drink!!

Anyway, lets us hear from you soon, Djinnie!

    She'll be around

In my 2 1/2 years on this forum, I've watched a hundred people come and go. Sometimes people just need a break. Sometimes they step away forever. Djinnie will be back. She has had too much concern for others well being despite her own issues.

Some of our other missing members are Garym,Eims, angec, MDCinSC and Alice. Just to name a few from the last month or so.

    Hi Sindy,
    I just know that

    Hi Sindy,

I just know that Djinnie had a lot of stuff going on healthwise since Christmas.  I hope she is just taking a break from this forum - having a dirty banana!!

I am with you, Sindy - I check this forum....sometimes can't respond, but try to be aware of what is happening.  I must say I have grown attached to everyone here, and look forward to hearing good news from everyone (and there has been a lot lately!! Laughing ) and also hope to offer support when necessary.

I am doing great. Tired....but that is to be expected. And now I have booked a weekend in Vegas with the girls on Valentine's weekend. ! A little trip to celebrate one of my friend's 40th birthday...Four of us are going...from age 32 to 52. Lord help me. I am afraid I won't be able to keep up with them - even at the best of health! I hope the weather is warm enough to hang by the pool, because I have a feeling that is what I will be needing!! The good news is that the Eagles are in concert that weekend while I am there. I wanted to go see them so badly in November, while they were here in Canada but Arnold was demanding all my attention at the time. So it is my lucky break that I will get to see them that weekend! They are my favourite all time band Lo-o-o-ve Don Henley. That smooth voice of his is magic for the soul. ...hmmmm.....rambling again.

I hope you are doing great as well!

    Hugs

    Jojo

    Hmmm...

Yes, but then why are you asking what it is so many times??   :)

    Thought you have been lurking

but it seems you've picked up a speech impediment. The dirty banana is what we get doing a 5k naked in the mud. Funny, only the women have been talking about these. Most of the men talk about beer and pizza....'cept nano. Much too disciplined. Eims, I've been getting back to my jogging also. I used to do a thousand miles a year. A couple miles 3x week is enough for me now. I'm looking to be ready for golf season.

Hey, how did you erase those comments? Now you see them, now you don't.

    I'm completely confused

In an effort to find out what all this facination with dirty bananas is I dropped a banana on the ground and rolled it around some . I wasn't putting that thing in my mouth , I can tell you ! A complete waste of a perfectly good banana . I think ya'll must be kinda odd . But likeable for all of that.

Now fox seemes to be talking about something entirly different . It seems like that boy has some unusual things going on in his life . Running naked in the mud . Well , whatever trips your trigger I guess .

    Enough of bananas :)

Back to the topic of those we have been missing.  May be a coincedence, but it seems to me that some of them seem to have stopped posting soon after we lost Trevor (TW), although I could have sworn I saw a post recently by Alice's husband (oneputt).  I could be wrong.  As was true for many, I took that pretty hard and had to stay away awhile, but then decided that that is not what he would want me to do.  I still don't post much, but I'll work on it.  I know he would count on us to help out the newbies and continue supporting each other.  I hope the others will return soon.

    a little umbrella drink

Hi Eims!  Good to see your smiling face, haven't seen it in a while.

A dirty banana is a drink.  I am planning to try one while on the beach in Jamaica, during my Valentine's cruise.  Several people on here have made reference to them after their recent travels to Jamaica and since then, it's been somewhat of a joke.

Hope all is well on your end!
