Echogenic is the technical word for "brightness", Renal sinus is the technical description for the middle section of the kidney. Fat is fat.
So,yes the fat on your renal sinus showed up brightly on your scan.

You heard the radiologist complaining about "snow blindness" after seeing massive amounts of fat around your kidney. If so then you should look into dieting.
