Fun Question

You guys are great at coming up with interesting words and phrases (IE: Lymphomaversary).  I figured I'd toss out an interesting challenge to everyone.  Here's a little background:  My bro-in-law texted me asking me about my schedule for this week.  I told him that I had PET/CT scans earlier this week and am meeting with doctor tomorrow afternoon.  His response was "I don't know what is said in this situation...hmmm...but 'break a leg'".

Now...everyone knows that the wish for someone about to take the stage.  So my challenge to the sharp (relatively speaking) brains of this discussion board is to come up with a well-wishing, unique, fun phrase to tell someone when they are going through "scanxiety".

    Fun. . .

    Hi Karl. . . the first thought that popped into my head was, "May the Force be with you".  Not unique to the situation however. I'll think on it as much as my chemonesia allows Smile.

    Hi Karl :)

    Great idea and glad to see you're in a humorous mood - that's always a good sign!  I have scans coming up on Monday and already starting to have scanxiety :(.

    Hmmm....

    While you were "scantily" clad and probed, I hope there wasn't much "scandemonium" and you receive "scantastic" results!

    "Peequila Shot"  - Beverage and injection given prior to a CT scan that generates a warm/hot feeling followed by the need to urinate.

    My brain is on vacation today :).

    Scan=Force

    I might have to take a variation of that and go with "May the Scan be with you".Laughing

    Hi Karl

    I realize I didn't even approach the challenge really - lol.  I'll blame it on chemo brain.  I do like the "peequila shot" though ;).

    So, may the scan be with you then Smile.
