New Word

Recently, I said to my husband, "You know that expression 'scatter-brained'? I know what it means".  He said, "Um. . .yeah".

Yesterday, I heard a new word for it--Chemonesia.  Smile

    Light auburn...?

    John,

As I understand it, in common parlance  the word "Blond" refers to a behavior, not a haircolor.  I am most likely one of the most "blond" people at this site.  The chemo gave me pretty significant "fog," while years earlier, in my auto crash, my oxygen levels were so low for so long that the doc told my monther that "if he lives, which I doubt, he will almost cetainly have organic brain damage."

I was purple-colored arriving at the E.R., and was on a ventilator for sixteen days.  I met the lead Respiratory Therapist months after discharge from the hospital.  She was training a new girl, and said to her, "Let me show you his blood gases results.  His numbers did NOT INDICATE LIFE !"  I was a zombie before zombie became cool !

Besides having to learn to walk again, I could not speak more than a few words at a time for many months, and stuttered severely for about a year or year-and-a-half.  My memory -- I did not have one .

That is, I know "blond" better than anyone...

    Blond

    Max,

You have been thru so much in your life. Don't know if I could have handled it or not.  So many people including myself associate the word blond with the phase, "Dumb Blond". Not saying blonds are dumb. I know a few that are pretty smart. Know a few with different color hair that are pretty dumb. I didn't bother to look it up. Then what can you expect from a person like me that writes ignorant rhetoric. LOL. John

BTW" Ever notice all the news women on Fox News have blond hair?...They sure ain't no dummys !!!!

    Don't Forget

When I had to be fitted with orthotic devices due to foot drop, the orthotics man called my way of walking hip-hiking and foot-slapping reminding me of going to a hoe down. Or clogging.

And there is your song, "To Marrow, To Marrow. . ."
