Seeking info about Clinical trial for metastasis (mets) called Rigosertib

Hey, I just started this clinical trial I was dx with mets to the lungs about a year ago. Primary was Tonsil

I  was wondering if anyone here knows anyone who has taken this drug in previous clinical trials the drug / chemo is called Rigosertib. I'm the first at my hospital so they don;t have a lot of info for me other than the standard side effects.. etc. I would really love to talk to people who have actually tried it

Rigosertib works by blocking cell division in cancer cells and causing them to die

it is being used for metastasis of

Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Anal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma

- Cervical Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Please feel free to PM me info.

Also this trial may be open to you

    I'm in day

    Thanks ccfighter.

I'm in day 4 of the trial so far so good, I wish I knew when I might start expereiencing soem of the side effects. I imagine like most it will take 7 to 10 days for the negative side effects to "kick-in". from what I read is most of the side effects are urilogical in nature, so I have been drinking lots of water.

Yes, I read the same things

Yes, I read the same things about it.  Seems pretty tame compared to some of the other things out there, so I hope the side effects are minimal and manageable.  Up the water and cranberry juice.  Lots of positive energy your way.  Hugs.
