I have been considering cell food drops which gives cells direct oxygen.   Having had successful bowel surgery with 4 mets to lung, dx 3 yes ago, I am wanting to give this a go?   I read that tumors don't like oxygen and thrive where ther is a lack of oxygen.  I am on cetuximab kras mut positive and  not sure what to do   Cetux seems to be shrinking them so I'm in two minds

    Cell food wHaT?

They’ve invented a way for your blood to get it’s oxygen by ingesting it?

You mean we can actually ingest oxygen and have it go right into our cells?

    WOW~!

So we never have to worry about drowning anymore!!!! We’re like fish! We don’t need those stupid lungs!!

This is a real biological breakthrough.

To hell with lung cancer - - we don’t need ‘em!

    </sarcasm>

    I apologize.

That was too, too harsh ! Let me try again?

The lungs are the only serious way to get oxygen into our cells.

These great “inventions” that are being sold to keep cancer away, or to fight cancer, are simply scams. The scam minded individuals know that the cancer patient is in fear of dying and will try to sell us damned near anything to survive.

Try to not fear anything, and use the gift of common sense to decide what’s right and what’s not.

You’ll do OK. There are other, more valid ways to fight cancer, but none that defy basic biological fact.

    Be well,

    Hi Hooley!

Some “studies” indicate that exercise is the best thing to help fight cancer, and other studies suggest otherwise. There are many conflicting theories regarding what’s best, but no single answer…..

CEA is a very subjective criteria. For some of us, CEA tests are useless, for others it can be a definitive marker worth watching. The one point to be made, is that CEA can fluctuate for nearly any reason, so watching that one single marker isn’t what any experienced oncologist does; they use CEA as only one marker of many to decide the direction cancer may be taking.

    Hemoglobin:

Since chemo (and radiation) can cause the body to suffer, the hemoglobin count can drop during and after treatments. Eating a well rounded diet will help (sometimes) to bring the body back to it’s decent state.

Your physician should have a dietician for you to turn to for advice. If one wasn’t provided, ask to speak with one that’s familiar with cancer and cancer treatments.

It takes time and courage to work through this cancer maze, and with all the misinformation and well-meaning individuals telling us “what’s best”, it just adds to the confusion.

Just take a day at a time, and try not to panic. There are some great ways to fight cancer and a world of “alternative” paths to go through, but not one of any of them should be rushed into. It takes common sense and patience, and a bit of real research.

Get some input from a qualified dietician first, and go from there!

    My best wishes for you,

    John
