Last chemo this Thursday

I'm so excited to be getting my last chemo this Thursday.

I'm looking forward to getting back my taste, maybe my brain function and energy.  I even dare to hope I'll have hair again.  I waiting to get rid of red and peeling hands, numbness and tingling hands and feet, painful nails, joint pain and all the other joys of chemo.

I'm looking forward to working a few weeks before surgery for BMX and reconstruction.

Basically I'm happy to put this chapter in the journey behind me.

Happy Happy Joy Joy

Sandy

Yay Sandy!!! It will soon be behind you. Thank God. This time next year this will be just a bad memory, but a good learning experience. Hang in there my friend. :)

Sandy .. all I have to say .. is

Thank our LORD, and your lucky stars.  You horrific side efforts may take a few months to clear up (mine did) .. each and every day you will see regrowth of hair, strength, and wisdom.,

Watery, Itching eyes - took months to clear up for me -- soreness of finger nails & finger tips continued for months --

Hoping your side efforts disappear in weeks, not months.

You have survived a battle few will ever know, so pat yourself on the back, and give out a big YELL -- now time to rest, relax and prepare for bilateral.

Strength, Courage and HOPE for a Cure.

Yay, yay, yay!!!!  I am so

Yay, yay, yay!!!!  I am so happy for you.  That is a huge accomplishment.

BTW, coincidentally, my last taxotere is Thursday.  Unfortunately, I will be on herceptin and possibly perjeta indefinitely, but I am hoping life will be easier off of the taxotere.

Good luck with the BMX and reconstruction.  Hugs and prayers!
