She has a pattern of taking

She has a pattern of taking breaks.  I'm on to you, Ann.  It's not unusual for her to not post for a couple weeks at a time.  Likely gets busy with the kids etc...

    Miss you...

Well, clearly I've got a psychic link with y'all,

as I got online this morning to post for the first time in quite a while, and this is the first thing I see!  I'm sorry I didn't give you a guys a heads-up about what I was doing.  Honestly, I felt weird about it because we've had so much hard news of late, and here I was off having fun...we were in Hawaii for the last two weeks!  No internet connection except on my husband's fancy phone, and I'm too fumble-fingered to make much use of that.  We took all three of my kids (as the oldest is almost 22, with a serious boyfriend, I suspect this might be the last time this happens), as well as my niece and her 18 month old.  She's doing the single parent thing and I thought she deserved a break.  We had a wonderful time on Kauai, and now I feel better prepared to face whatever might be coming when I do my scan next month.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some reading and commenting to get caught up on!

    Lot's o' love~AA

PS  Here we are enjoying sunset at Ke'e beach, which is the end of the road on the island.  You want to go any further, you have to get on your hiking boots.

I am glad you got away for a

I am glad you got away for a while and away from the forum. As much as I love everyone here it can be a tuff place to visit. Especially lately. I think your scan will be good. It is time for a change of fortune for this community as a whole.

    Wonderful news that you were

Wonderful news that you were able to get away...off the grid!  I hope you had a wonderful time!  I recently went on a mini vacation with the kids...it was so much fun just feeling normal again for a bit.  I'll be thinking of you as you prepare for your next scan...crossing fingers and toes for you!

    Dang, I hope so, dude.

Any prior experience with clairvoyance on your resume?  I would love to be the bearer of good news for the forum, but we'll see.  Things seems to change in a heartbeat around here, and not always for the better.  However, I would be more than happy to offer a change of pace.  Will do my best.

Where did you guys go, Alex?

and yes, it was great in some ways being off the grid, but I did discover I'm a little bit of an internet junkie.  Especially bugged me not to be able to check in here and see how people were doing.  We go to my in-law's mountain cabin next month, and there's no access there either.  I may have to wander the road with my laptop, see if I can steal a neighbor's wi-fi.
