    Sh#t!!!

I ams o sorry very sorry and feel at a loss for words. You mentioned in your other post that you felt guilty posting good news. Please don't ever feel that way again. Good news, bad news, fears, anger, celebrations....should all be shared if you feel it. We all here for you to share your feelings. K?

I can't answer your question on the bone, as far as EC is concerned. Seems to me there have been several survivors that have done well after that diagnosis. I know that my mom's breast cancer went to her bones and she lived 5 years. She stopped all treatment when it went to her bones.

I wish you the best, please keep us informed.

Laura thanks so much for your

Laura thanks so much for your support. Im so sad to hear about your mother but it gives me a glimpse of hope that Dad will be around for awhile. I know they say not to read the net but I know that this is really bad. When I asked aboit time the doctor said its not about time its about fighting. I agree but I dont want to loose dad to chemo side affects either. As usual everything is moving so fast. We find out tommoorrow when surgery is for rod in hip, chemo and radiation. They seemed positivr that iy was isolated just in hip and very sm. Spot on spine. Hope theyre right. Actually heis scan in Feb. before IL surgery there was slight uptake there, but didnt think cancer. I guess its a blessing because they woulf not have done surgery and thankfully dad did alright and his throat is better he said. I think leaving it in there would have been devastating ti him. As always you and Larry are in my thoughts. I feel so bad for you guys with running the buisness. Its just another stress. I never dreamed bone Mets, but then again we never dreamed EC either. This sucks

    I am so very sorry

I am so sorry about your Dad and I am angry right along with you.  How could this not have shown up after his pathology reprots and with the scan before his surgery?  I don't understand this and I don't trust any of these tests.  I have followed your posts and he was clear after surgery right?

I find it so sad that he had to endure this aweful surgery only to here more devestating news months later.  I know science isn't perfect and I blame the cancer more than the doctors but it is just so hard to remain positive.

I am sure you have read as well as I have on the diet changes that have made a world of difference in cancer patients lives.  Maybe start looking at that.  Meanwhile, I will pray for you, your Dad and his team of Dr.s.

Thank you for the prayers. I

Thank you for the prayers. I also agree with your suggestion about diet. Im going to def. Look into that. My aunt sells a juice Monivie, so im looking into that. At first I didnt want to add things to my mother but now we are desperate for trying anything.

There is so many ways to look at the missed spot on hip. One sense im thankful he could have the surgery to rid of the mother tumor. If they would have dx the bone then, no surgery. On the other hand I feel horrible that he just now was turning a corner and bam more cancer. However, they said since it was pretty much isolated thats good. The small sopt on spine easnt a big concern. The esph. looked great nothing on that or lymphnodes so I guess we have to be positive about that. Its so devastating, whats this chemo going to do etc...I find myself bargaining with God to just give us a couple more years. I hope to hear from someone on hear that has fought bone Mets and won.
