Ryan is 5.  He does not understand what cancer means but he knows that I had a big boo boo that made me sick and caused me to lose my hair.  I explained to him that everyone who was walking had a big boo boo too.

I have to do one of these

I have to do one of these someday.  I admire each and everyone of you that do.  I bet it does feel good and powerful to walk the Survivor's Lap.  Thanks!

    Thank you both! <3</b>
Thank you so much for walking for us. I wish everyone walked, regardless of their cancer history. I think these kinds of efforts have helped us in so many ways - we have more treatments. Now all we need is...a CURE!
Thank you both for contributing to this cause.

    For Kay

    Hi Kay,

A few years back, a friend who ran the local Relay for Life said they often use wheel chairs for people who can't walk and want to participate in the relay.  I have a brace of my foot and can walk short distances but not the long haul of a relay.  I also have shortness of breath as an added factor.   I declined but I do believe it is an option.  Perhaps you can email the local ACS in your area.

    Best,

    Doris
