I made two afghans that I placed in the Silent Auction of our Relay for Life. I think one of them sold but not sure which one. Gotta keep them fingers busy.

    Blankets or Dogs?

My first thought on seeing the title of your post was: "Oh how nice. She is posting pictures of her dogs." I looked at your Expressions Page and felt just a little silly. Embarassed Those afghans/blankets are really beautiful. You are certainly talented. You should be very proud that someone thought enough of your work to bid on it.

    Angie, Thanks for asking.

I am doing good. I only have to see my onc every 6 months. I am back to my normal schedule for my mamograms. I am still taking Femara(Generic) and will be on it until March of 2015. I get hot flashes every now and then and I have noticed a problem with my balance and of course the feminine dryness is the pits but for the most part the side effects are manageable.

I am still having issues with my back. I had injections in March and that seemed to help the pain in my back but the pain from the nerve that is being pinched due to my herniated disk and degnerative disk disease is giving me a fit. It is the one that runs down your leg and sometimes it feels like I have prickly things running up and down the affected leg. Doesn't keep from doing the things that I want to do but sometimes I just gotta lay on the floor to try and straighten things out. Trying to avoid having surgery but may have to have it one of these days.

    Good news in having mammos

Good news in having mammos every 6 months Donna!  I am glad you're tolerating the side effects of Femara.  Just wish you didn't have to deal with the back pain.  Did both of your afghans sell?  They are so beautiful!
