Hi, at all

I am newby here, despite I am caregiver and colorectal cancer researcher since more than 2 years, my father is stage IV patient, and I was working in other cancer forums.

However, I noticed it more interesting nowadays.  My native language is spanish, so my english is not great, but I will try to do the best.

I wish to share experiences, thoughts, ideas, ouf of the box and why not build up models or plans to attacks this damn disease?.

Well, I want to be brief, my father had a two stage liver resection one months ago, for this reason, I want to discuss ideas with everybody and known if somebody had a liver resection in two stages here.

I hope not to bother nobody but I am Italian descendency and hot blood.

Huges and kisses

Fede

My dream? build a team to research cancer my profile should say " Only bw all of us we can destroy cancer.."

    Was it an ALPPS resection?
Was it an ALPPS resection? Were both surgery's within a well or so of each other? I guess what I am wondering is how much time passed between the two surgeries. Did they remove the right side completely?

    I am from Ontario, Canada.
I am from Ontario, Canada. In this area brain tumors (including metastasis) are treated quite successfully with the cyberknife.

Also, Barb, a CSN member had surgery in December to treat a colorectal brain met. She appears to have done extremely well. She recently had a brain MRI and it showed NED. I believe she goes by Barbebarb.

    All the best,

    Chelsea
