Finally, some 10's!  I knew Zendaya would get them.  She still amazes me every time I see her dance.  I thought it was so funny when she said how am I suppose to know what being in love with someone is like or to have passion, I am only 16.  lol

    Andy flying in?  HA HA!

DL must go before the boxer or Andy.  Do you think so?  He really can NOT and I mean can NOT dance.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly - Week 5

    The Good:

Not only did Sasha not have to carry around any micro-animals, wear a costume from the It's a Small World ride, or dress up as Bruno's fantasy Boy Toy this week...he did TWO dances!  Go Sasha!

    The Bad:

Angie, right now, I think there's a lot of bad dancing to choose from!  D.L. has actually improved a little each week, while Victor, Sean, and Ingo just don't seem to be getting any better, and it's really starting to show.  And they don't have the ability to perform like Andy does.  If I had to pick, I'd vote for Victor to go home tonight.

    The Ugly:

WHAT happened to Peta's hair last night?  I mean, I think Peta is the hottest thing on two legs, and would leave my girlfriend in a minute for her...:-) :-) :-)...but last night her hair looked like something out of Frankenstein's laboratory!

I agree on the Peta hair thing, Traci!  Part of it had to be a wig...ya think?  Your reviews are hilarious!  Linda

I am sure it was a wig

I am sure it was a wig Linda.  I don't think she has that much hair.  I think most of them usually have at the very least, extensions in, as when it shows them in practice, they have a lot shorter hair.

I always get a good laugh when Tom jokes about them keeping the spray tanning business going.  LOL

    Traci, you really, really

Traci, you really, really like Sasha, do you?  lol  I do miss Jiggy Frown  Lisa, not at all.

I see improvement in all of the dancers, but, I have to agree with everyone that it is time for DL to hit the road.  Victor will probably go tonight as he is always in the bottom 2.  I felt bad that his girlfriend cheated on him and he just found out.  I know that took a toll on his dancing.  I really don't care for Sean, but, he really did good last night, which surprised me.  Andy, loved him last week, but last night, he was awful.

Zendaya is so impressive and I think might take it all the way.  I have been rooting for Kellie and Derek too, but, Zendaya is getting hard to beat.

Peta's hair?  Yea, what was that?  lol  Is she still dating Macs or however you spell his name.  I got so sick of him that I wasn't so happy to see him back.  He had an attitude problem.

They said the show is halfway over?  WaaaaaaaUndecided  I never want it to end!

It's not that I necessarily LIKE Sasha...

...but I just felt so sorry for him -- someone with his professional dance pedigree and championship titles who spent the entire first week carrying around a sullen dog the size of a bug.

Wig?  I don't think so, because did you notice the ugly brown roots?  I don't know that you'd intentionally buy a wig with brown roots...but then again, what do I know about trendy hair fashion -- my hair is like 2 inches long, and I spend a full 5 minutes of quality time styling it each morning....

Kristin, I adore Tom -- I've never seen anyone in this generation who can do live TV the way he can, who can come up with quips and comebacks at the drop of a hat, but is never, EVER mean-spirited.

My favorite Tom line last night was when Ingo kept talking about wanting to "skate through," and then Brooke had to ask him about "skating through," and then there was more talk about "skating through."  When they cut to Tom, he said, "Yeah, we tried skating, and it didn't work so well."

Anyone else remember the truly terrible ABC experiment called "Skating with the Stars" from a couple years back?

I'm sick of DL and Cheryl.  I hope he goes next, but, I doubt that he will.  Zendaya and Kellie are also my picks to win.  I hope they keep getting the votes.

It is strange how I didn't know if I'd like this year at all as I didn't know most of the dancers.  But as usual, I am really loving this year's show.

I think most of us followers, if not all of us, should be happy now.  DL is gone!

I am happy dancing ( hehe ) that DL left!  I never could stand him or even Cheryl this year.

I really like Tom too Traci!  He is so witty and you are right, very nice.

I have to say also that I was impressed with Sean's dancing.  He didn't do too bad!

I don't remember the skating show.  I guess it didn't last very long.  Have any of you been watching that show Splash that comes on before DWTS?  I thought it might be entertaining, but after just one show, thought it was so stupid.

"Falling in the Water with the Stars"

    Jan,

I think the main reason my partner and I have avoided Splash is because we remember how bad Skating with the Stars was.

She insists on calling Splash "Falling in the Water with the Stars."

I've gotten to where I like Brooke Burke on there now, but, doesn't she ask the dumbest questions sometimes?  Almost mean?  I wonder if she just makes them up or if they really are given to her.

I was a little surprised that

I was a little surprised that Ingo was in the bottom two, not that he is that great, but, didn't think he'd be there yet.  There is something about him that I just don't like.  lol  Not for sure what.  My hubby says it is his hair, and, I think that might be it.  I know, I am being too critical, but, so what..I can.  lol

Traci, does your gf know about this thing you have for Peta?  She is very pretty and seems very nice too.  I thought the robot or outerspace dance at the beginning of Tuesday's show was odd.  I guess Derek and Mark choreographed it.  There I go again, being too critical.  lol

Awww, next week, who do I want to see go?  Hmmmmmm

Oh yes, Sue -- she knows :-)

Because while I would leave her in a minute for Peta...SHE would leave ME in a minute for Anna!

Yes, here in my house, we have a few less-than-pure motives for watching Dancing with the Stars! Innocent

I agree about Tuesday's "outerspace" opening number.  WHAT the heck was that?  If it had been the opening number for So You Think You Can Dance, I probably would have loved it...but that was just TOO far away from ballroom for my taste.

I don't think any of us have commented on what we thought of the side-by-side dancing experiment?  I vote no -- I found it too distracting to try to watch two couples at the same time.  I thought having the professionals start first and show us how it's supposed to look was a good idea (and my girlfriend was certainly happy to see Anna! Surprised), but the side-by-side was too much, IMO.

OH!    I think you need to

OH!  Surprised  I think you need to delete that little angel there Traci!  lol  Hey, we can all dream, can't we?  Wink

I know!  They keep straying away from the ballroom dancing and adding those silly themes.  I wish they would just go back to the way the show used to be.  It was so much better, but sigh, I doubt they will.

The side by side dancing..I didn't care for it.  It was distracting as I was trying to watch the pro's and the stars too at the same time and it wasn't possible.  At least, not with my lil brain.  lol

Tonight should be good, or, I am hoping.  Dancing to Stevie Wonder songs!

    Stevie Wonder night turned

Stevie Wonder night turned out to be good!  Finally Derek and Kellie got the 10's that they deserve!  I would have liked to slap Carrie Ann up the side of the head for her 9.  What is wrong with her?  Sometimes her comments are so dumb and I thought hers about Derek and Kellie was so stupid.  She goes beyond critical at times with the best dancers.

I don't care for the group dancing, but, was glad that Derek's team won.  The other team was pretty bad and I thought they would be the best.

Victor or Andy will probably go tonight.  Or, that is my guess.

He just walks the steps out and doesn't really dance.  The panel was right in their assessment of him last night.

Yes, Lex, Carrie Ann needed a good "b" slap!!  I think we need to send Traci in LA to a live show and have her do that for us.Smile Derek and Kellie deserved all tens.  Zendaya and Val are tough competitors and will probably be the couple to beat in the finals.  Linda

Linda, maybe you and I ought

Linda, maybe you and I ought to go there ourselves and slap Carrie Ann up side the head!  lol  Actually, I like your idea better to send TraciLA there.  I KNOW she could do it for us and probably with pleasure.  Would you Traci?

It was good that Victor left.  You are right on that.  He hadn't been improving at all and just cannot dance.  He seems like a nice guy, but, I also think the poor guy might have taken too many hits to the head.

Did you like Kellie's wig?  I don't think she looks good with long hair, or, maybe she just needed bangs or something.  She is so darn cute with her short hair.

Zendaya is tough to beat!  That little girl can dance!  She also seems to be enjoying it so much that I am sure that helps.

    Lex
