Nothing interesting here! Again a bad ,cold, rainy and sad weekend! Ughhh!,well it is April a crazy month for weather as you know! Hope to go to the cinema tomorrow but still feeling bad of my stomach , this time chemo is harder than other times ( specially for my stomach and liver) ,well hope thugs will improve next round! In the other hand chemo is working quite well and CEA is droping every round! Now I'm on 8 coming from 50. Pet was quite good 2 months ago so I suppose next PET ( in 2 weeks) will show some more improvements in my fuc......lymph nodes!
What about you mates? Hugs to all!

    its been awhile

its been awhile since I've posted anything here.

5 weeks off of chemo... almost feel like a "normal" guy. (outside of the bone & join pain, the neuapathy, inability to sleep, screwed up balance, watery eyes and constant sneezing and runny nose) all feeling really good. (Chemo can really screw a body up!)

Having my first PET scan on Monday and April 18th going to have my first Radioembolization (y90) treatment.  Nervous and excited to get started on this.

Just back from a week vacation and ready to relax for the weekend... watch NCAA hoops and hopefully get outside and enjoy some sunshine. (with sun screen off course)

Cheers to everyone and I hope your winning your cancer battle!

    Hugs

    Joe

That is the funniest picture. Steve and I are laughing our heads off. That cat looks completely identical to our cat, Oscar.

    That's great that your CEA
    Hi Pepe,

That's great that your CEA has dropped. Hope your onc can prescribe something to reduce the chemo side effects. You shouldn't have to suffer through it. Have a great weekend.

    We joined a Produce Co-Op.

We joined a Produce Co-Op.  We purchase produce and bread through a large group and receive it every two weeks.  We are going to volunteer to help unload and divide the produce and bread for all that joined.  It will be a very early morning for us. At the same time we will be able to meet a group of people that have similar interests to us and expand our friendship network.

We then plan to cook and bake a bunch of meals. Next week is my last Chemo treatment and I will not want to cook much.

    Best Always,  mike

Nothing Going On Here Either, Pepe

Just some "fun" laundry, while hubby watches his favorite, John Wayne, on TV. We don't go out unless it's to a treatment or doctor. He's very weak and fell again yesterday. I just can't support him when he starts to go down. I'm going to try and get a walker with a seat on it, so we can at least get out of the house. Life is just so different for us. We used to travel all over. It is what it is, as Buzz would say.

    Luv,

    Wolfen

    Great hearing from you

I'm with you on having stomach problems. I'm sticking close to the house this weekend...need to have quick access to the bathroom because I never know when I have to go. At least the weather here in Indiana is nice today and tomorrow so I can BBQ and do some chores around the house. All we can do is ride this crazyroller coaster. Pray you feel better.  Jeff
