Hi all

i hope you are all keeping well.  Well I got my pathology results a few weeks ago but I am not sure if i really understand it.  Initially they said the tumor was about 4cm but then they said that the cancerous part was only 2.5cm.  They said it was a T1 but grade 3.  Does that make sense to anyone?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

For all the effort involved I think it's about time doctors had a copy ready and routinely gave it to their patient, after giving the bottom line and being ready to explain anything.

So far it sounds as though your lesion may have been potentially aggressive (so regular scans for a while will be necessary) but caught nice and early, at only stage 1, which is the really important prognostic factor, so things are looking good.  Nothing to stop you from calling and asking for a copy, I suppose, but I don't know the American protocol.

    Eims,

It might be worthwhile to call your doctor's office and request that they email (scan) your report to you. I receive all of John's reports electronically these days.
