Good News!

All of us on this board have gone through so much with diagnosis, treatments and just coping with cancer. We are there to encourage, pray, cry and uplift each other when we feel at our most vulnerable with words of our own experience. I would never want to diminish the pain that another person is going through yet, I want you all to know that there is hope out there, and that is what we give each other also...my hopes have come to fruition. I had a PET scan yesterday and the results today showed that there are no new tumors and the tumor I had ablated in January is gone! I was hoping for the best but I honestly prepared for the worse, since I have not had a clear scan in 4 years. I realize that at my stage 4 with 2 metastes, it is more than likely to recur again, but for now that is down the road, at least for 6 months until the next PET scan. I feel as if a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and I plan to move on and live my life to the fullest, and I hope I can help someone else to make their own journey through this a little easier.

 I just want you all to know that I have appreciated the kind words and care I have felt from visiting this board, and I want you all to have hope and have positive thoughts.
