osteoradionecrosis of the maxilla

I was wondering how often is that seen as a complication among those who had 70Gy and concurrent chemo? I know that maxilla has a better supply of Oxygen (via collateral vessel supply) than the mandible. I realize that it depends on the (primary) tumor location, but I am still willing to know if extraction, deep cleaning (in general everything that is prohibited due to risk of ORN) can be done on the maxilla.

Thanks for your input.

    ORN

I had cancer of the mandible and am currently doing HBOT prior to having some extractions and implants. Before I started HBOT, I did have my existing teeth cleaned without incident.
