Anyone know where sells smaller sized mast. swimsuits?  The 2 places here thst have certified fitters can not find any that sell smaller than size 8 and according to the measurements that it will fit is too big for me - a 4 should fit.  Also - do not like one-piece so looking for a tankini.

If I can't find a mast. suit I can find a reg. and modify it - but though I could, I don't want to  as VA will cover the cost if a mast. suit but not for a reg that I modify.

So help/thoughts please!

    Hi Susan,
    Have you considered

    Hi Susan,

Have you considered shopping on line?

I've never tried this particular site, but it would be a place to start.  I hope you find something....I think you should post a picture once you find it.

    Hugs,

    Linda

I have also heard of people

I have also heard of people going to Land's End for tankinis. If you can modify it yourself, even better.

breastcancer.org has a forum called Mastectomy Without Reconstruction. I would go there and research and ask. There are a lot of women on there that really know their stuff and where to get things online.

    I hope you find something.

    I modified my  "old"suits.

I modified my  "old"suits.   Also I used bath puffs in place of heavy swim forms in my bathing suit.  The water drains out of them plus they are so light.  I posted about these before as a cheap alternative that worked so much better for me.  Loved using "normal suits".

Regrettably, I am not a size 4.  I have gotten nice mastectomy suits from Lands' End and I believe they come in smaller sizes (down to size 2).  Good luck.
