    The Sorcerer's Apprentice

I chose my screen name from Disney's "Fantasia". Yensid is the name of the sorcerer Mickey is apprenticed to.  I figured that since I was hoping for magic with my treatments, and truth be told, it does seem to be somewhat like witchcraft, that it would fit well with my journey through the battle with the 'beast'.  the digits are significant to my wife - the ever suffering caregiver - and I

    aha....yensid

I knew that was DISNEY spelled backwards, but I didn't know from where.

    now I know.  thanks !

    Because I'm sassy

When I got my first email account-I tried a bunch of names-everything was taken. Growing up, my sister always called me sassy so that and my first inital and last name became my username. I also use capecodrice also. But I forget when I use that one.

Most names make sense when you spell it out....

I posted an explanation on another thread but "fishmanpa" was something I came up with back '95 when I got my first computer and internet (remember dial up?) I've had the same email address since that time and still use the original ISP company for my email account.

"fishman" because I love to fish and "pa" because I used to live in Pennsylvania (Delaware County and Philly) although I'm originally a S Jersey boy.

    "T"

Belonging to a few fishing forums, mine follows that theme...

One of my first boats was a 16' Carolina Skiff...hence Skiffin16

Vanessa is a form of my original name, and SLO is for my country (Slovenia).

    far away

I thought the SLO stood for San Luis Obispo (in California). Man, I was only 8000 miles off. lol

    Hi John,

I always smile when I see one of your posts.....but I have to confess, I smile because I always think "potpie".

It was always one of my favorite comfort foods.
