Motown -- late 1960s and early to mid-1970s or so.  I have a few others from the past, as well.

I even have this -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GPw8Q5WBxQ&feature=related -- currently saved in my favorites for an occasional walk down memory lane.

I do like more modern tunes/artists, but apparently none enough to really know what they sing.  I have CDs, but rarely do I have more than one by a particular artist (i.e. Wilson Phillips).

    Meatloaf!

Meatloaf is one of our favorites!  I don't think he can sing worth his dinner now, but, back in the day, we loved his songs.

Love Bat Out Of Hell, Paradise By The Dashboard Light and Heaven Can Wait!

    Proud To Be An American

Proud To Be An American/God Bless The USA by Lee Greenwood   Pretty much just 'me'.  I was standing on the dock in 1991 (Hubby's last cruise and our Sons had done the Tiger Cruise with him) when the  Ranger was home.  The first song was William Tell Overture\Lone Ranger and the next was Proud To Be An American!

    I Am Woman

    Climb Every Mountain

    Winyan - The Power Within

God Bless the USA always gives me goose bumps when I hear it.  If I were to sing along with it, I'd choke up.

    Anyone watching the Grammy's?

I hate to say it, but, there are so many artists that I have never heard of.  Is that showing my age?  LOL

One of my favorite and most

One of my favorite and most soul-reaching songs is "Soulshine" by the Allman Brothers Band. My tastes range from Conway Twitty to Marilyn Manson though!

    "Dancing in the Moonlight"

a one hit wonder by King Harvest...uh, oh...I'm showing my age for sure!

Man, I don't care what is happening in my life. When I hear this song, all I want to do is dance. It's a happy, feel good song that I NEVER, EVER get tired of hearing. In the midst of my treatment, my son Michael got married. In the middle of all their own music was my 'lil 'ol song. What a sweet thing to do for me!

    Dance away!

YES! I have a few. One is a spanish Christian singer named Jesus Adrian Romero. His songs helped me heal during chemo.
