Bleeding from the mouth after chemo treatment

I usually get my chemo treatment on Tuesday, by Friday I am suctioning out blood from my mouth. Does anyone else have this problem. I have a peg tube, i cant take anything by mouth.

    Chemo makes your mucous membranes slough off
    till you're down to hamberger in your mouth. Be very gentle with the suctioner...I had bleeding mouth sores for 3 weeks after every 5FU treatment. Glad you have a PEG, so you don't have to try and feed yourself while you have hamberger mouth...

    so I can't help ....probably normal (but I'm not doctor) so be sure and check with your doc team and let them know...
