    Stress
Today we tried to have a restful day. We have had a stressful couple of weeks. My mother was in the hospital (doing well now), and then my brother had a brain tumor. His surgery for that was Thursday. Pathology is not back yet, but they believe it's benign. He was doing pretty well, but today his blood pressure has been high. Worrying about a stroke...I'm really tired and ragged out right now. Not sleeping much.

Tomorrow is church, a meeting and then the youth meeting.

    *hugs*

    First weekend home
I will be simply luxuriating in my first weekend home in five weeks. Kids off for a week as is half term from this weekend so will enjoy some time with them intermingled in with some time hiding away from them for some rest. Still finding each day includes several challenges to find my way through as well as ups and down in energy and mood but overall transition home gone well.

So my weekend is a quiet one continuing my assimilation back into the world on one leg. May take my first trip out in the car to set myself a challenge as sitting is getting less painful.

    Steve

U are great Steve !I'm glad you are enjoying ur home and
Family, enjoy your car trip !
    Hugs!

    I'm preparing for the "Storm

I'm preparing for the "Storm of the Century" before it hits on Monday. I need to get more batteries and flashlights, and maybe even a generator since the lights are sure to go out. Last Halloween we had a couple of feet of snow fall, but this year's storm will bring high winds and rain. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my pines won't fall on the house.

    Have a nice weekend everyone!

    Take care,

    Cynthia

    That sounds like a great
That sounds like a great ride!

We just got back from Kayaking. We took the dogs out for their first time on the water. They have life jackets and rode with me in the kayak. My dog was anxious for about the first 15 minutes, then she relaxed. Then we added Laurie's dog to my boat. He relaxed because my dog was relaxed. It went well.

I packed hot tea and lunch. After being on the lake we took a walk and had lunch. A great day! Yesterday we hiked a trail on the north end of town that we had never explored before. It was a great walk also. (about 7 miles) We live in Payson Arizona.

    Best Always, mike

    Well, son and his girlfriend
Well, son and his girlfriend went to a dog rescue...came home with a "pup" .....he's so huuugggeee, he's tall enough he can plant his face on the stove while I'm cooking!!! I think I'm gonna get a pony saddle, I figure I can make a few bucks off the neighborhood kids giving pony rides!!! Kids want to go out tonight so we're puppy sitting.

    huge pup
I love big dogs!!! He will bring lots of joy, hopefully. Bless your son & his girl for rescuing him.
