Hey all, I'm sure many of you know about needing blood transfusions.
My brother Jr. use to have blood transfusions every so often because of the chemo but now that he is off of chemo he seems to be needing them even more and they are not working like they use to. He is still weak and so tomorrow he goes for iron. Do they give him iron through his feeding tube?? or IV or what?? And what will the iron do if the blood transfusions are not working??? Any help I would so appreciate. Thank you!!

    Infusion
My father receives iron infusions for different reasons than cancer. They give it to him by IV.

I don't know if it would be the same or if it is case by case.

    Blessings,
